Welcome to Lhasa, the holy city on the snowy plateau at an altitude of 3,650 meters. You will be met at Lhasa Railway Station (Airport) and transferred to your hotel for rest to acclimatize to the high altitude. On the day of check-in, please do not wash your hair or take a bath, reduce activity, and have a light dinner without overeating, so as to adapt to the high-altitude climate as quickly as possible.

After breakfast, you will first visit the Potala Palace, the world's highest ancient palace-fortress complex. Climb the long staircase step by step, overlooking Lhasa as you go, taking in the magnificent sweep of the city. Pause for photos and rest along the way, then enter the Potala Palace with a professional guide to explore this mysterious ancient palace, of which very few interior photos are available online. In the afternoon, you will visit Lukhang Cave Temple. [Lukhang Cave Temple] is the only cave temple in Lhasa and is known as the first Buddhist cave of the Tubo period, yet few tourists visit it. Strolling through the temple, time seems to stand still; it is hard to imagine that such a peaceful place exists in the heart of bustling downtown Lhasa. Afterward, you will go to a Tibetan family courtyard to experience a Tibetan-style afternoon tea. There are many choices, including Lhasa sweet tea, Tibetan black tea, green tea, and local tea drinks, along with more than 10 kinds of snacks such as wild apple chips, milk dregs, wild peach chips, kase, wild walnuts, roasted highland barley, and more. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea in the courtyard. After that, you can stroll around Barkhor Street. [Barkhor Street] is Lhasa's busiest commercial street, with a dazzling array of high-end goods, daily necessities, and tourist souvenirs. Here you can see all the cultural customs of Tibet and the life of Tibetan compatriots.

After breakfast, you will set off from Lhasa and first visit the "Most Beautiful Temple," Lamaling. 【Lamaling】 is a Red Sect temple hidden deep in the mountains, leaving a special impression with its unique phallic worship totems and its distinctive practice of monks and nuns cultivating together. The most unique aspect of Lamaling Temple is its architectural style. The four sides of the Buddhist hall are painted in four vivid colors—moon white, blue-purple, orange-red, and blue-green—giving Lamaling Temple an intense visual tension and a character distinct from other temples in Tibet. After visiting Lamaling, you will head to the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon Scenic Area. 【Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon Scenic Area】 is the deepest, longest, and highest-altitude canyon in the world, and also the most mysterious region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is regarded by scientists as "the keyhole to open the door of Earth's history" and is also hailed as "humanity's last secret realm." In the evening, you will stay in Suosong Village, where you can open your window and see the sunset, sunrise, and banner clouds over Namcha Barwa, known as "Paradise in the Clouds."

After breakfast, you will first head to [Lulang Town], then experience a trek from Zhatang Lucuo to the [High-Altitude Pasture] — one of the best light hiking routes in Tibet. You can cross a steel suspension bridge to reach the shore of Zhatang Lucuo Lake, where there is a pasture. Here you can experience Lulang horseback riding and arrow shooting, and also cross through the oak forest and over a small hill to reach the Himalayan high-altitude pasture. The prayer site "Kadingkang" next to the pasture is the best photography spot in Lulang International Town and a must-visit check-in location. Most of the great photos taken in Lulang come from here. Along the way, the beautiful scenery shows you that this place is even more beautiful than the Swiss Alps and the Austrian alpine landscapes! Afterwards, you can experience the Himalayan nomadic lifestyle "Guo Linka" (a wild party) in the Himalayas — resting in the open fields, checking in at the mobile internet-famous camp in the Guo Linka style, drinking a warm cup of Tibetan milk tea by the snow mountains, in the pasture, or by the river, and tasting various Tibetan snacks! Scenery is right before your eyes, and a cup of black tea is life itself... Afterwards, you will return to Nyingchi via Lulang Forest Sea and Sejila Pass.

After breakfast, you will head to the Basum Lake Scenic Area in Nyingchi. Basum Lake is the only natural 5A-level scenic area in Tibet and is known as the "Little Switzerland" of Nyingchi. The scenic area combines snow mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, pastures, cultural relics, and famous ancient temples, with distinctive scenery that changes with the four seasons and a gathering of rare wild plants, truly a paradise on earth. After arriving at Basum Lake, you need to take the scenic area shuttle bus to the core scenic area, the Island in the Lake. Legend says this island is a "hollow island," meaning it is not connected to the lake bottom but floats on the water. On the island is the Tang Dynasty building Tsozong Gongba Monastery, a famous Red Sect Nyingma monastery in Tibet. After visiting the Island in the Lake, you will take the shuttle bus to the Dajila Viewing Platform. This requires hiking; following the clean steps, slowly climb to the summit, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Basum Lake. Afterward, you will be driven to Lhasa for accommodation.

After breakfast, you will first head to Lhuri La Scenic Area. [Lhuri La Scenic Area] is known as the "Thousand Island Lake" and is a very off-the-beaten-path attraction. From the summit of Lhuri La, you can look out over the islands of various shapes and sizes in Yamdrok Lake, scattered densely and sparsely in orderly arrangement. The only difference from Hangzhou's Thousand Island Lake is that here the sky is bluer, the clouds are whiter, and the water is greener! Afterward, you will visit the "mini grassland" Yutiantang Grassland. [Yutiantang Grassland] was a royal pasture during the Tubo period and is also a gathering place for wildlife. On the grassland there are herds of yaks, Tibetan antelopes, hares, plateau pikas, and more. Then you will visit the "internet-famous attraction" Rituo Temple at Yamdrok Lake. [Rituo Temple] means "stone on the mountain." Standing alone beside the turquoise Yamdrok Lake, it is the only building on a peninsula in the lake. One lake, one temple, one monk, one lifetime, and it has passed 700 springs and autumns in this way. Through the changing seasons, sunrise and sunset, and the washing away of strife, practice means guarding this place until it becomes a way of life one can no longer leave, so it is also called the loneliest temple. After visiting Rituo Temple, you will go to a private Yamdrok Lake viewing platform to admire the beauty of the lake from a 270-degree view. [Yamdrok Lake], abbreviated as Yamdrok, means "Lake of the Swan" in Tibetan. At an elevation of 4,441 meters, it is one of the three great sacred lakes of Tibet, and its beauty is unmatched in southern Tibet. The clear lake water, towering snow mountains, and washed-blue sky merge into one, and the picturesque scenery is unforgettable.
