Welcome to Lhasa, the holy city on the snowy plateau at an altitude of 3,650 meters. You will be met by our team at Lhasa Railway Station (or Airport) and transferred to your hotel for rest to acclimatize to the high altitude. On the day of check-in, please do not wash your hair or take a shower, and limit your activity so as to adapt to the high-altitude climate as quickly as possible.

After breakfast, you will depart from Lhasa and first cross the 4,702-meter 【Sejila Pass】, where you can gaze at Namcha Barwa, crowned the most beautiful of China's top ten famous mountains, and also experience ringing a bell for blessings. Then you will continue onward to the "natural oxygen bar" Lulang Forest Sea. 【Lulang Forest Sea】is a forest amid clouds and mist. The entire scenic area is picturesque, surrounded by snow mountains, with lush forests in the valley and meadows so neat they seem artificially trimmed. When rhododendrons bloom across the mountains in May and June, the vast Lulang Forest Sea forms a breathtaking peerless spectacle. After visiting Lulang Forest Sea, you will continue to 【Lulang Town】. Then you will experience a hike from Zhatang Lutsok to the alpine pasture (aerial photography). This is one of the best light hiking routes in Tibet. You can cross a cable suspension bridge to reach the shore of Zhatang Lutsok Lake. By the lake there is a pasture, where you can experience horseback riding and shooting whistling arrows in Lulang, and also pass through an oak forest and over a small hill to reach the Himalayan alpine pasture. The prayer site beside the pasture, "Kadingkang," is the best photography spot in Lulang International Town and a must-visit check-in place. Many of the great photos taken in Lulang come from here. Along the way, the beautiful scenery shows you that this place is even more beautiful than the landscapes of Switzerland in the Alps and the Austrian mountains! After enjoying Lulang, you will have dinner at the Tibetan Lulang Lord Manor. Dinner is a Western meal of red wine and steak, letting you experience Western dining culture in Tibet! After dinner, you will experience a bonfire Guozhuang at the Tibetan village Zhaxigang. Here we provide traditional Tibetan clothing, so you can present your most beautiful side in nature before the camera! Bonfire party, village karaoke (complimentary, free singing).

After breakfast, you will depart from Lulang and first visit the "most beautiful monastery," Lamaling. 【Lamaling】is a Nyingma monastery hidden deep in the mountains, leaving a special impression with its unique fertility-worship totems and its unique practice of monks and nuns cultivating together. The most distinctive feature of Lamaling Monastery is its architectural style. The four sides of the Buddha hall are painted in four vivid colors—moon white, blue-purple, orange-red, and blue-green—giving Lamaling Monastery an intense visual tension and a distinctive character compared to other monasteries in Tibet. After visiting Lamaling, you will head to the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon Scenic Area. 【Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon Scenic Area】is the deepest, longest, and highest-altitude canyon in the world, and the most mysterious region on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is regarded by scientists as "the keyhole to open the door of Earth's history" and is also known as "humanity's last secret realm." For dinner, you will taste Nyingchi's local specialty—Lulang Stone Pot Chicken. 【Lulang Stone Pot Chicken】is a famous dish of Nyingchi, Tibet. Made with hand-shaped ginseng and free-range chicken, slowly stewed in a stone pot unique to Medog, Lulang Stone Pot Chicken has a very distinctive flavor. The broth has a faint herbal fragrance, and the chicken is tender yet springy. The soup is said to be rich in 17 mineral trace elements including magnesium and iron.

After breakfast, you will depart from Nyingchi and travel along the most beautiful highway, the Lhasa-Nyingchi Expressway, to Basum Tso Scenic Area. 【Basum Tso】 is the only natural 5A-level scenic area in Tibet and is known as the "Little Switzerland" of Nyingchi. The scenic area combines snow mountains, lakes, forests, waterfall pastures, cultural relics and historic sites, and famous ancient temples. Its scenery is extraordinary and differs in all four seasons, and it gathers many rare wild plants, truly making it a paradise on earth. About one hundred meters from the shore of Basum Tso is a small island called Tashi Island. Legend says the island is a "hollow island," meaning it is not connected to the lake bottom and floats on the lake water. On the island there is also the Tang Dynasty building "Cuozong Gongba Temple," a famous Nyingma school temple of the Red Sect in Tibet. After the visit, you will return to Lhasa via the Mila Mountain Tunnel.

In the morning you will set out from Lhasa and pass through [Jiaruola Pass]. Tibetans believe that all things have a spirit, so devout believers hang colorful prayer flags across the mountain passes of the sacred mountains; the vibrant flags flutter in the wind, sacred and solemn. You can stop here for a while to take photos, and afterward you will follow the [Yarlung Tsangpo Valley] onto Provincial Road 307 and drive to the mountainside to look down over the Yarlung Tsangpo River, where the view is vast, magnificent, and majestic. You will then arrive at the Yamdrok Lake scenic area and take a circuit around the lake. [Yamdrok Lake] If you visit it as part of a conventional tour group, you will see only the tip of the iceberg. If you want a deeper understanding of the beauty of Yamdrok Lake, only a full circuit around the lake can let you feel it. At Yamdrok Lake there is the bluest sky and the bluest lake, and you will understand what is meant by "a tear of an angel in the heavens, the blue of Yamdrok on earth." After circling Yamdrok Lake, you will experience a Tibetan-style afternoon tea at a private camp by the lake. Accompanied by sunshine, blue sky, and snow mountains, enjoy a warm cup of coffee—raise your eyes and there is scenery; a cup of black tea is life itself... For dinner, taste the Tibetan specialty yak hot pot. Yaks live at the roof of the world in a frigid, pollution-free environment, and yak meat is tender and delicious. The yak soup pot is simmered with highland yak as the main ingredient, and the dishes cooked in this broth have a clear, mellow taste that is nourishing and savory, and you will never tire of eating it.

Today you will tour within Lhasa and visit the Potala Palace, the world's highest ancient palace-fortress architectural complex. Climb up along the long stairs, overlooking Lhasa as you go, taking in the grandeur of the city. While taking photos and resting, you will then enter the Potala Palace to explore this mysterious and ancient palace for which very few interior images are available online. After visiting the Potala Palace, you will experience a complimentary Tibetan costume photo shoot (10 negatives, 3 retouched, no makeup, headwear included), leaving a beautiful memory of this trip. For lunch, you will taste Tibet's specialty 【Yanjing Jiajia Noodles】. Yanjing Jiajia Noodles have been listed in the Tibet Intangible Cultural Heritage Directory and featured on the program "A Bite of China." Jiajia noodles, as the name suggests, means "continuously adding." Each bowl has very few noodles, enough to finish in one bite, and they are added bowl by bowl. In the afternoon, you will go to Zaki Temple to "sang" (burn incense). 【Zaki Temple】is the only God of Wealth temple in Tibet, located within Lhasa. Although the temple is small, its incense offerings are especially abundant. It is said that Zaki Temple enshrines the God of Wealth, and it is especially efficacious! Here there is a tranquility undisturbed by outside tourists! Bring a khata, a bottle of baijiu, and several bundles of mugwort and pine leaves to worship Tibet's only God of Wealth temple—Zaki Temple.

In the morning, you will depart from Lhasa by car along the world's highest-altitude highway—the Qinghai-Tibet Highway—to Namtso, where you can see the road stretching toward the horizon! Along the way, you can view the Northern Tibet Grassland and gaze at the "God of Light," the Nyainqentanglha Mountains. After lunch in Damxung, cross the 5,190-meter Nagenla Pass, and Namtso suddenly appears before your eyes. After taking photos, continue by sightseeing bus to the Namtso lakeshore at Tashi Peninsula. 【Namtso】sits at 4,718 meters above sea level, the highest large lake in the world and China's second-largest saltwater lake. To its south is the year-round snow-capped Nyainqentanglha Mountains, and to its north and west are plateau hills. The vast lakeshore is surrounded by grasslands with lush water and grass. The clear lake water reflects the surrounding snow mountains, creating beautiful scenery. Namtso is like a sparkling pearl inlaid in the vast Qiangtang Grassland. After the visit, return to Lhasa.

After breakfast, this journey will come to an end. We will arrange the group drop-off according to your flight or train time, and you will set off to return to your warm home.
